What would you like to see?

Hey

Over the summer as I have now finished my first year at Uni I have a lot of time to make changes to the blog and hopefully add a heck of a lot more content and other things.

Obviously if I could do everything that would be amazing and I will try and do as much as possible but i wanted to ask you guys, the actual users what you would like to see.

I have designed a short survey (literally only 4 questions!) and would appreciate as many responses as possible.

I know these things take time and I do appreciate it. Plus you get to shape what will be on here in a few months time!

Also as a side note anyone who wants to get involved and actually make some of the content feel free to contact me: revision.notes.blog@gmail.com This will look great on your CV and any UCAS applications and any work that you do I'm happy to provide a reference for. Plus your work is out there for people to see. Pretty cool, no?

Ads ads and more ads

Hi everyone

I apologise for the amount of ads on the site currently

Here is the reasoning behind these:
  • It is currently our busiest time in terms of how many people visit the site
  • We don't charge anything for the revision notes
The ads are there to make the site money. We hate ads too and appreciate that they are annoying but please stick with us and hopefully we can remove them soon.

This is a trial so any feedback is really helpful as I can't view the site like you can unfortunately

New degree section

Hi

Soon there will be a new degree section on here. This will mainly be a set of quizzes and other materials based around physiology and human anatomy.

Sounds like a load of made up words? Don't worry it's based at people doing degrees and foundation degrees in human biology based subjects such as physiotherapy, medicine, pharmacology etc etc.

If you know anyone who might benefit from taking a look at these send them this way! They'll be here soon and will be relevant if you're planning on going off to uni in September!

A little plug...

Hi everyone

For nearly a year now I've been on giffgaff for my mobile phone operator. I just wanted to take the time to introduce you to them as I'm sure many of you won't have heard of them.

They are really cheap and have great signal as they run on O2 (like Tesco mobile)

The only slight problem is that you need to own your phone as they don't sell contract deals

The link below allows you to order a giffgaff sim for FREE and when you activate it you'll also get £5 free credit

Sorry for this distracting plug but they really are good and the community is really friendly and quick at helping you out with any problems

E-Books

E-book Store is now up!! Use the Page link at the top of the site and get revising on your mobile devices!

This is currently a trial and if sales are good then all content will be added as e-books

The e-books are also available on the Amazon Kindle store which is a better method if you have a kindle

Amazon.co.uk Kindle store: http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=myrevisionnotes&sprefix=myrev%2Caps&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Amyrevisionnotes

There are currently issues with the unit 4 ebook on the amazon store which have been addressed as of this evening and the updated version will hit the amazon store tomorrow

Why not download it from the ebook store on the website? The updated version is there now and you save 2p!!!

Exciting news for E-Reader users!

Recently we posted about you being able to get all the revision notes in handy kindle format and this is going from strength to strength on the kindle store so thanks to everyone who has been buying these!

I am now able to announce that the first book has been published (well in the process of) on the kobo store and will be available very soon. Unfortunately due to the stupid pricing on this store the books will all be £1.99 and even at this price 100 will need to be sold in order for us to cover costs and get any revenue!

Stay tuned for other news as I'm trying to set up a store through the site where you can purchase the e-books in any format for the same price and simply drag and drop them to your device

Hope revision goes well and be sure to check out these great e-books to help you out!

why not use your kindle?

Hi

Just to let everyone know some of the revision notes have been put into kindle format and are currently available to purchase on the kindle store!

http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=node%3D341689031&field-keywords=myrevisionnotes

This is great for reading on the train/bus/in the car and is a great reference guide for in the classroom too

These are all priced at just £1.02 (amazon being funny about the pricing) so as you struggle to get a lot of things for under £1.50 these days why not get yourself on amazon and/ get the parents on amazon and get yourself a great little revision resource

Even if you don't have a kindle you can get the kindle app for iPhone/ iPad / iPod touch / andriod phones and tablets so give it a go!

Thanks everyone, any purchases are really appreciated!
